Fresh Coffee





 


There are days when one must have a hot coffee.. especially in late afternoons when one has a headache and long's for that strong cuppa with the Aroma ☕ of freshly made coffee.


And after becomig a vegan, i think i yearned for that one  and the occasional curd rice with lime pickle.😋😋.


A few months ago I tried this good mylk and it came very close to the original coffee...though of course it'll never be the same.


But guess what....?

In some ways it was better.

The stomach rumbling and bloated feel after the regular coffee is not there 

Plus it is an anytime preparation,

the wait for the milk man having become history 🤔.


One month stock is already bought and ready to use, not in the fridge mind you, just on the shelf.

It is only after the pack is opened that it needs to be refrigerated.


Tastewise, if one can get used to this one, there is nothing like it ..it reminded me more of coffee made with buffaloe milk.


On deep thought i feel that any taste which we learn from childhood is always the best ...it is not the taste per se but our learning or rather conditioning.


Maybe thats why many husbands brag about their mothers cooking to the wives ...?


Though my son does not do that.

I am not really what one would call a wonderful cook... and  in fact he sometimes brags about his wifes cooking skills.

BTW ...this is how we used to hold the glass tumbler with the scalding coffee we got in our college canteen, i am sure many of my friends from CMC Coimbatore will remember this.
