 This is a mission during lockdown to get one simple CRUELTY FREE home recipe daily, using the basic items available at home. My aim is to get atleast 100. And.....one question daily for me to ponder upon.... Today is the 7 th. A minute to ponder 🤔 Two to cook...🌶️🌰🍅 சிந்திக்க ஒரு நிமிடம் 🤔 சமைக்க இரு நிமிடம் 🌶️🌰🍅 Yesterday in one of the various social medias, I saw the video of a man standing behind a cow, washing his face in the cow's urine,  During my childhood there was a short period of rule by the Janata party in India and some of the central ministers then used to talk about the beneficial effects of cows urine to human beings when it is ingested which was when i first heard about this. And later i noticed many people among my relatives also mention it in passing and now of course it seems to the bottom-line in organic agriculture. I am neither disputing these claims nor advocating them. 🙄😃 My thoughts are more on the lines of what the cow would have wondered....

 One minute to ponder 🤔 Two to cook 🌰 🌶️ 🐈🐩. 🤔 Whenever i walk around my campus i see one 'pet' dog, which is tied up and keeps barking at the children who play nearby.The dog is less than two years old..probably a child still or maybe a teen-ager by a dogs chronology. I feel that his/her barks mean this ... " Why is it I am kept tied to this post with a rope just a few feet long ...i cannot walk or run while you guys  walk, run, play and basically do what you want.... What was my sin, that i get this life  long punishment? Why cannot I play like the other human children do?"🐩 🤔 🌰 🌶️ Onto our two minutes Cruelty free cooking- Semia Upma! Upmas are my all time favorites and luckily my mother likes them too..so the breakfast at home is usually any one of the various upmas of Coimbatore. 🍌 A sheeps question to me when I visited a relatives house for a condolence in Tamil nadu where this custom is still prevalent. 👇 🐑 "Hi Indians and Tamilians,  I often hear y'all  talk about how the humans in Ancient India and Tamilnadu were cultured and civilized when the Europeans were still barbarians... I feel you guys in India have gone back to the barbaric times now.. I see you guys cutting the throats of my friends and killing them as a sacrifice to the Gods.   🤔 Are we eternal dictators... ? Today I am pondering about what a broiler chicken is asking me... 🐔"Hey human being, all of you are so shocked at what happens around you to other humans...the honour killings, racial murders and wars and destruction..   The video is the making of a vegan ommelete. Fried Bengal gram powder, onions, tomatoes, green chillies, curry leaves salt and water are mixed and then made into an ommelete. Other optional ingredients are eno salt, ginger bits, coriander leaves and any other vegetables pieces of choice. The taste is good especially when eaten hot, and of course all of us know that taste is always acquired. Other ingredients that cud be added are soaked flax, and black salt which might add to the experience. அகிம்சா ஆம்லட்...🤔 அது  என்ன..? 👇 கடலைமாவை கரைத்தெடுத்து கொஞ்சம் அதிலே உப்புமிட்டு, பச்சை மிளகாய் வெங்காயம் மல்லித்தழை எல்லாமே  சிறு சிறு துண்டாய் வெட்டி போட்டு நன்றாய் கலக்கி அடித்து விட்டு, ஓரமாக ஒரு மணி நேரம் ஓய்வெடுக்க விட்டுவிடலாம்... பின்னே வந்து அடுப்பை ஏத்தி தோசைக்கல்லை சூடாக்கி ஊத்தி ஒருமுறை திருப்பிப்போட்டால், அற்புதமான ஆம்லெட்டம்மா! நனிசைவத்தில் நனைந்தெடுத்த  அருமையான ஆம்லட்டம்மா.... அதுவே உணவாய் அமைந்திடும், 'சைட் டிஷ்' ஆகவும் இருந்திடும்... ஆணவமதற்கு இல்லையம்மா! ...

  Today i am pondering a fish's query.....🤔 🐬 "Is it right of humans to suffocate me, cut me, eat me alive, fry me and pickle me.... ? Dont they know that it is a terrible pain for me ? Dont they know that I have my family, children and my own society and that the sea and river are my world, where I was born to live and die in Natures own way? I thought human beings were capable of being just and fair..." 🤔🤔 🍋🍋🍋🌶️🌶️🌶️🍋🍋🍋 👇 Whenever I make lime pickle everyone, including me , want only the gravy and not the lime pieces... so i decided to grind the lime a bit and see how it goes... Limes are free ..😀 From the tree in my brother's house .. Google says lemons are big oval and limes are small and round. So what ...a lime is a lemon is a lime ....🙄😃
